Kayaking
Some of our members are kayak or canoe
owners & are often seen paddling
in the harbour. A growing number have
shown interest in paddling in company.
Any adult member with a kayak who is
interested in joining our informal paddling
sessions please meet at the Club on
Thursday April 24th at 5pm. Please feel
free to come & join us
This is not an offer to
teach skills as we are not instructors
- you must be responsible for your own
safety.
We hope to have a weekend
away fairly soon at Waterside campsite
Pooley Bridge for anyone interested
in paddling on Ullswater!

The
Compound:
all members please make sure the
area round your boat is tidy, any ladders
under boats need to be chained up and
if you have any canoes etc. these also
must be tied to the boat trailer.
Do not store wind surfers under boats
these need to be stored elsewhere as
we do not have the facility for them.
Road trailers & launching trolleys
need to be clearly marked with your
name if not stored with your boat.
Requests for new storage need to be
directed to Mac.
